Kush Mccaulla is a dope hip hop artist straight outta East Atlanta, Zone 6, a hot bed of fresh rap talent. The 24 year old has a unique sound and style which he calls "soul groove".
His sound has been undoubtedly influenced by Southern hip hop greats like Andre 3000, but he also credits Wiz Khalifa as having some effect on his music.
Last year he released a single produced by KooBeats out of the Million Dollar Basement that got the up-and-coming rapper some real traction. Entitled, "What She Said", the track has as a raw, authentically trap feel and sound.
"Shawty sweeter than Hi-C, she say that she can't wait to see me..."
Mccaulla describes his sound as simply "life". And the life he lives is embedded in the song's lyrics and the trap vibe. Check out the video for "What She Said" below....
