LJGOLD Proves He's a Rapper on the Rise -- Drops New Single, 'Motel 6'

LJGOLD has an approach to hip-hop that is fresh and open-minded. Rapping since 2005, he is keen on expanding his creative scope and bringing new ideas into his sound. The constant pursuit for creativity and appeal is what makes LJGOLD’s songs quite special, and the numbers on streaming services are actually pretty self-explanatory, attesting to the fact that people are definitely noticing his skills and strong personality -- the perfect ingredients for  a rapper on the rise.

Motel 6, is the latest release for the Oakland, California based rapper. Its a biographical track that touches on the adversity, struggle and pain that he's experienced. He also touches on the strength he's gained; he raps, "I'm a human being, f*ck you! Thank God for the strength I grew."

"Accident put me on wheels; then my life drove down hill"

His unique flow is multidimensional and switches up throughout the song-- giving listeners variety and levels. His slightly melodic delivery adds color to his lyrics without taking away from the intenseness of his  content.

He debuted in 2007 with a rap performance at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and it went on to continually improve his reach and build a strong fanbase over the years. He has been featured in numerous radio stations and media, and his tracks have charted along with influential artists like Nicki Minaj, as well as Redman, and many others.

In 2019, his album “Pull Up,” actually went on to reach over 1 million plays on streaming services. Then in 2020, his hit song “Stand Up” achieved even greater heights, gaining over 4 million streams and counting. Fans of artists like Logic, Mac Miller, Trippie Redd, and Joyner Lucas are definitely going to enjoy LJGOLD’s vision. He's definitely one to watch.
