Artist Spotlight: JEDA -- 'Blown' [VIDEO]

From Lagos to Toronto, up-and-coming rap artist, JEDA is making reverberating waves with his music. His passionate and melodic delivery of the lyrics he writes and records have him coming to the attention of rap fans all over. His recently released single, Blown is A1 quality and showcases his skills as an emcee.

Its hard to believe that he's only been on the scene for 4 months. HIs flow structure exudes a level of confidence --he shows if off well in Blown.  There were some moments that made me feel almost as if I was listening to DaBaby and other points on the track where it was clear that JEDA's style is uniquely constructed. Either way, his melodic trap sound is dope.

"Don't know the way, but I sure got a map"

Born, Habeeb Salau, Jeda made his mark in the music industry on this past winter with his 2020 debut, The Way I Feel. JEDA is an artist with street oriented lyrics, melodies and fast rap all combined. He lives in Toronto, Canada but is originally from Lagos, Nigeria. His musical influences include the like of 2pac, Akon, Kanye, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Ja Rule and Drake. But on his single, Way to Attack, there's a Fetty Wap-ish vibe that I f$ck with.

This kid has something special. Raised on the sidelines of music, his melodic and catchy hooks intertwined with his fast flow will be an ear catcher to fans as well as industry executives.

"Ain't no cap in my ride. Baby this where I belong... The world is gonna know me. Everybody play my songs..."

While independently pushing his talents and personally structuring his team. JEDA is one to watch out for.
