ARTIST SPOTLIGHT - Lando Notes Talks About His Two New Singles and His Genre Bending Style

Sometimes the road to success includes periods of struggle and sacrifice.  When 26-year-old singer-songwriter, Lando Notes hit rock bottom, he turned his adversity into a positive. In his new single, Remember, the Houston, Texas native reflects on his lowest point to create a moving song. "In the song Remember I'm reflecting on my life with struggles of being homeless and not being able to pay bills and giving myself a chance on my dreams and being thankful for life," he explained.

The song is real, and a lot of people can relate to the lyrics. The sound doesn't fit neatly in a genre box. I'd best describe it as backpack emo trap meets alternative. Lando melodically delivers on this track as he shows off his skills as a singer and songwriter. It's a beautiful, heartfelt song.

"Cause I still remember when we couldn't pay the light bill"

Lando Notes also recently released another single called Slide Thru. There's a more upbeat, fun vibe on this song. He said, "on the song, I just felt good and wanted people to feel good when they heard it."

This  talented artist has a way with words and notes, and he has the gift of connecting with many different kinds of listeners.  Among his musical influences, he credits  Chris Brown, Brandy, Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Kid Laroi, Juice Wrld, and Post Malone. And he doesn't allow genre to put him in a box. "I want to be known for my talent for making songs and delivering good vocals. My style can vary from what I feel from the beat. Wherever the beat takes me I go."

A true artist,  he's focused on building a genuine connection with his fans. "I want all genres and ages to feel me and hope they stay around for my journey cause I'm far from over."

Stay tuned for a full album which he says he is going to release soon.
