Buffalo Rapper Csiphir Seeks to Put Upstate on the Map -- Drops 3 Singles off Upcoming Project 'Pha$ez'

Csiphir is an up-and-coming rap artist from Buffalo, New York. He just dropped three dope singles  from his upcoming project, "Pha$ez"set to be released in June. While we wait on the full project, you can enjoy the three bangin' tracks released today. E.A. (Emmanuel Augustus), I Swear, and El Loxo Negro are available on all major streaming platforms.

I really f*cks with I Swear. The drill beat is a heavyweight, and when he spits, you can hear a sense of street confidence in his lyrics and flow yet his delivery comes off real mellow-like. His work consistently exudes his unique rhythm and flow-- a style he's labeled "New Kali York".

Some of the players that helped move this project along are his homeboys Kobra, Hefe Boss-up, and Hitch Burney--all three are also outta Buffalo, New York, Charlotte Buxe from Charlotte, NC by way of Florida, and B.A.G Pablo out of Alabama. Csiphir also worked with the super duper producer, New York Bangers who made hit beats for Young M.A including "OOOUUU," "Body Bag," "Bleed" and "Off the Yak", and who also has songs with Casanova, Fabolous and other New York rappers. Other producers he worked with include Beast Inside Beats, Thundaa, Premise on the Beat, and two of his Buffalo connected exclusive producers/beat makers, Jruggred Beats and DJ Ruff the Reaper.

The rapper, who is also known as Ron Royal, began his musical journey at the age of 13 performing in local bars, doing shows in clubs was gaining fame and recognition in his city and local suburban areas until he was arrested and convicted of felonies in 2008. After serving a total of nine years, Csiphir jumped back in the studio and put his all into becoming a force in the music industry. He's matured up his sound, his movements, and his business acumen.

It hasn't been an easy return, but he found a path forward despite  suffering a number of devastating setbacks. "Over the last five years, I’ve lost a lot of close family... In September of 2015, my brother Jason Alejandro (Dro) died in my hands," he explained.  He's also lost too many friends in the music industry such as  Chops, Neck Brace, and others in Buffalo's EDM scene. But things went from bad to worse when he lost a series of close relatives in this last year. Csiphir said between 2020 and 2021, "my brother committed suicide (under sketchy circumstances)my aunt passed (Saynda), my grandmother passed (Inka) and my father passed (Lionel). May they all rest in heaven and find eternal peace. And it’s what has pushed me forward even further."

Csiphir now owns his own company called Grand Money Empire LLC (GME), and his decided to share his experience with life being of African descent in America and coming from poverty to becoming a father, a well matured man, and finding a being of wealth within himself and to share with his family. “My music is how I view my truth... our truth”, he said. The CEO also added that “being greatness and being great are two different things, and the thing that defines greatness and great is becoming legendary."

"A bitch with my dick in her hand, I'm swearing this shit on my man.."

For the 32 year, his rich sound has been influenced by hip hop legends and his roots in Alabama. Some of his biggest influences include Jadakiss, Pusha-T, Jay-Z, OutKast, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Dr. Dre, The Game, E-40, Future, UGK, and hometown favorite Rick James.
