Rapper Bubsy Millions Talks His Hustler Mindset on New Single, 'Negus'

Bubsy Millions is a buzzing name in North Carolina's independent hip hop scene and a budding entrepreneur. Born in New York City and raised in the Carolinas, Bubsy is not only a hip hop artist, he's an African-American, college educated businessman. As CEO of Millionaire's Music, he makes music as he says, "for the millionaire minded." His latest release is a powerful, hard hittin' single entitled Negus.

Bubsy, who resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, has seen his share of racism, poverty and drug abuse. On the single, he reveals a sobering reality as he raps, "ain't got time to sleep, niggas gotta eat and pay a bill." Thats real. His sound and flow on the track, with the classic boom bap beat, feels like a cross between Biggie Smalls and Rick Ross. Listen to Negus on Spotify

"We bring the drama to yo mama for them commas..."

A common theme throughout his music is for his listeners to get their money. He says "positive energy always creates energy" and he wants his supporters to become millionaires. A first generation college graduate, the St. Augustine's College alumnus is determined to break generational curses by motivating the people to become bosses of their own lives.
