Terell Safadi Releases Dope New Album, 'Get Money Mindstate'

Terell Safadi  is a rapper who is proving himself to be one of Vancouver’s hottest hip-hop artists. If his new album, "Get Money Mindstate" tells us anything, its that Safadi is better than your average rapper. I'd actually describe him as a rapper's rapper. His fresh, energetic, and smooth flow is a vibe within itself.

Earlier this week, Terell Safadi dropped his new album “Get Money Mindstate”. The 7 song project features some dope tracks including Made For This featuring Michelle Heyoka.  On the song, Safadi spits some crazy bars to a heavy hitting beat. He goes in when he raps, "I'm that diamond in the rough that no one knows." Heyoka give me early 2000s nostalgia with her Ashanti-like powerhouse vocals on the chorus.

"Got some shoebox money, but its not enough..."

Another standout on the album is the title track, Get Money Mindstate. The mood is more trap; his flow structure is more melodic and subdued, but the lyrical content is still just as tough. He really connects with the song when he spits, "if you broke still, it means you ain't find your lane yet."

Safadi has been making moves getting millions of streams and views on the internet, and his music has consistently made the charts.  In 2015, his single, Rumors, landed on Spotify’s Hip Hop Central and Fresh Finds. He followed it up with Day Ones (produced by DJ Mustard) which also landed on Hip Hop Central, as well as Northern Bars. In 2018, his All Your Love track (from his 2nd EP “A Night To Remember”) peaked at #27 on Spotify's Canada Viral 50 chart, landed on Viral Hits, hit #7 on the iTunes Sweden with #MOOD, opened for several artists including SAINt JHN, Nelly, Roy Woods and went out on a 7-date run with Yelawolf on his Western Canadian tour.

Last year,  despite the setbacks many experienced during the pandemic, Terell Safadi had a strong performance garnering nearly 500K streams and 100k+ views for his single Can’t Forget featuring Tory Lanez.  If the past is a predictor of the future, Safadi will continue his rise. We think "Get Money Mindstate" delivers the goods. It's out now and available on all major platforms.
