Emcee KB Drops Dope Single, "Great Escape"

Canadian/Australian rap artist, Emcee KB  is a 24 year old who knows what he wants and how he wants it. A self described "perfectionist", he is hands on, navigating every aspect of his music. But it should come as no surprise that he's so independent. KB grew up a 4 hour drive from fast food, let alone a music studio. Everything you hear or see is completely self taught, and its damn good. He recently released a rap single entitled "Great Escape"

"I've got nowhere that I wanna come back to"

With its looping dark piano chords, deeply personal and reflective lyrics, the track mixes backpack rap and emo-alt-hip hop vibes to tell love story of running away with the girl he loves. On the track, he spits, "in a foreign country, we don't know what they're saying; six stories up, looking down at the pavement..." Emcee KB's mellow, laid back delivery helps take the edge off of the thumping beat; its a real chill track with a nice hook.

He recently hit 500k on Spotify, and music bloggers are finding his rhymes worthy of review. "Great Escape" is available on all streaming platforms, and it's definitely one for the playlist.
