Last week, rapper Cuarenta Porter dropped a brand new album. Entitled, "Path to Gettin' Cash, Vol. 2", it's a 12 track project that follows his 2021 Vol. 1 release. The album is stuffed with hot beats, sick bars and includes some bangers including Finest, Biggest Freak, and No Rona.
"I ain't stumbling bout this sh*t. I had worse times. I was f*cked up. The plug gave me a lifeline."
Porter was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. His rap style is versatile, and his flow switches up. The album mixes West Coast thumpin' baselines with low key, mellow beats to create a chill, kickback type mood. Lyrically, the rapper spits everything from backpack type lyrics to that downright raw and freaky vibe --rapping on Biggest Freak, "still practicing what I preach. When I lay open them cheeks, baby f*ck me like she love me."
Mr. Porter is another dope track. It has a trap beat, but the vibe is different. It's an innovative kinda rhythm. Cuarenta Porter delivers a witty, humorous rap performance through his lyrics and laid back flow structure. He raps, "I'm right here on the map. I'm posted in your trap. N*ggas like where you at. Sh*t I'm right up the street."
Released on 2.2.22, "Path to Gettin' Cash, Vol. 2" is available on major platforms now.
